A Tonne of Tins – Supporting Bridgwater Foodbank

At West Country Drainage Services, we’re committed to supporting initiatives that truly make a difference. recently we were delighted to attend the launch of Sedgemoor fm’s ‘A Tonne of Tins’ campaign! Held at Angel Place—home to a Bridgwater Foodbank donation cart—the event marked the start of an inspiring community effort to collect 2,500 tins by Christmas 2024, all aimed at helping local families in need.

The launch was a fantastic opportunity to connect with familiar faces from Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses, including IMPACT 20twenty, Paul Smith Associates, and QSS IT, all rallying together for this worthy cause. The enthusiasm and dedication on display were heartwarming, showing the power of community when it comes together to create positive change.
"Let’s all come together and rally behind this incredible cause! Every tin and essential item donated brings us one step closer to making a real difference for families in need. Whether it’s canned goods, long-life milk, or toiletries, your contribution, no matter how big or small, can have a huge impact. So, let’s start donating and show the power of community by supporting those who need it most!"
